Recruiter - Car Sales Division

General Responsibilities
The primary mission of the Recruiter role is to provide leadership in the assessment of recruitment needs, government compliance requirements, and staff supervision. Position Hertz as the employer of choice attracting the best talent in the industry. The incumbent works closely with all business partners to perform all recruitment activities. The function of this role is to identify qualified candidates and manage the process through final hire. The Recruiter implements strategies to source qualified, diverse candidates to meet position requirements from internal, external, and/or referral candidate pools. The role requires strong skills in leadership, client relationship building and critical thinking.
Direct the recruitment activities for the HQs locations, as well as high level field positions. Partner with management to develop recruitment strategies.
Develop recruitment plans to utilize all sourcing methodologies including cold calling, posting, career fairs, professional relationships and agencies (including the negotiation of contracts)
Establish strong internal relationships and serve as a primary source of staffing and recruitment strategy advice, consultation, and education
Work closely with HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to help determine staffing strategy, obtain position requirements and compensation, and ensure that job descriptions are updated.
Work with Hiring Managers to manage job requisitions, job posting and process.
Provide information on company operations to potential applicants
Develop and maintain a strong relationship with Graduate Schools
Function as primary point of contact and coordinate appropriately with all parties involved in process i.e., hiring managers, HR, compensation, relocation etc.
Manage all required pre-screenings and testing and schedule/coordinate all hiring manager interviews, including; Complete initial screen and coordinate required subsequent interviews, coordinate all interviews for hiring managers and interview teams, ensure assessment tools are utilized and consistent
Manage the final steps in the hiring process including; coordinate formulation and delivery of salary offer, extend all employment offers including letters; manage communication with selected candidate until date of hire, provide appropriate communication to candidates who were not selected for hire.
Mandatory Requirements
Educational Experience:
+ Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Professional Experience:
+ A minimum of 3-5 years experience with a proven track record in recruiting for a large matrix organization.
+ Extensive interviewing and sourcing experience with a strong record of success.
+ Recent experience in strategic sourcing via emerging technologies, job boards, and social networking sites.
Knowledge:
+ Demonstrate knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques and requirements, federal selection guidelines, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices
+ Display knowledge of principles and procedures for recruitment, selection, training, compensation and benefits, and HRIS.
+ Exhibit knowledge of hiring practices, behavioral-based interview techniques, tracking processes for applicants and open positions, and recruiting metrics
+ Demonstrate knowledge of corporate recruiting policy, procedures, and databases
+ Portray administrative and documentation skills, detail-orientation, and a proficiency with reporting tools, databases, and Applicant Tracking Systems

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
