Manager, Inbound Analytics

General Responsibilities
Job Purpose:
The primary mission of the Manager, Inbound Analytics is:
+ The Manager Inbound Analytics is responsible for the reporting, forecasting, planning and analysis that supports the global team who manage inbound and outbound business
+ The role focuses on supporting the development of long haul business globally, with a particular focus on inbound US business
+ Authority to own the inbound data and provide comments on performance
+ The following brands are included under the Manager?s responsibility ? Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty
Key Result Areas:
+ Provide regular reporting and analysis on inbound business
+ Participate and provide input on regular calls and meetings that focus on inbound business
+ Support the global team by providing bespoke reporting and analysis as required
+ Work with the global analytics teams to work on producing a global reporting suite on all long haul inbound and outbound business
+ Provide project support as required by means of analytical data to help on-going development of actions and initiatives which lead to growth in the inbound business
+ Work with the account managers to provide the account reporting and data required to manage and grow the business
+ Provide the revenue reporting for bonus purposes for the inbound team
+ Participate in the Business Planning sessions as required
+ Be proactive with the data and analysis work, and make recommendations and guidance on how the inbound team should look to grow and improve the business going forward
+ Be the provider of regular updates and commentary on the inbound business to be used in the various business review sessions, by working with the global teams and knowing what actions and initiatives are in place globally to drive the business
+ Work with relevant people to support the use of Salesforce.com as a sales tool for the Inbound sales team
+ Build industry knowledge and expertise, and be able to report on data such as passenger numbers which influence the inbound business globally
+ Where relevant, work closely with Revenue Management as a key partner and driver of inbound business
+ Look at ways to improve business processes and reporting, looking for the most efficient and automated way of working
Mandatory Requirements
Educational Background:
+ Knowledge of world-class sales analytics
+ Knowledge of structured problem solving
+ Knowledge of Distribution or Sales methods
+ Experience of working and operating in cross regional teams
Knowledge & Skills:
+ Strong analytical skills
+ Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
+ Ability to set priorities and allocate time and resources appropriately
+ Strong communication, sales and analytical skills
+ Financial and economic acumen
+ Able to manage systems data (Excel - Pivot Tables Critical, Word, Powerpoint, Publisher), Access, Data Warehouse Reporting, Studio Query, Cognos, Cognos Query, SMART, ESYS, Navigator, Document Direct, Tableau

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
