VP eCommerce - Marketing

General Responsibilities
This role is critical to Hertz growth plan and is responsible for driving the development and execution of the overall Ecommerce strategy including the online demand generation, website customer experience and engagement, web analytics and customer services. The VP will partner with the Marketing Leadership team to review the Marketing road map along with developing new competitive strategies. Responsible for the development, implementation and execution of new strategies.
Job Purpose:
Clearly identify a strategy for execution in alignment with long-range plan and strategic priorities to drive revenue and increase market share developing strategic and operational plans for the team, managing execution, and measuring and delivering results. Responsible for creating strategic vision for the Ecommerce in the Marketing COE:
+ Full P&L responsibility of Marketing eCommerce
+ Responsible for developing entire ecommerce budget including annual budgets around advertising spend, return on ad spend, member and customer growth, and other appropriate metrics.
+ Ongoing analyzing and evaluation of the effectiveness of websites sales, methods, costs and results
+ Leverage customer insight and constantly monitor the competitive landscape and market conditions to identify opportunities, issues, and risks to recommend strategies and tactics
+ Driving customer acquisition and topline growth through SEM, SEO, affiliate marketing, and display retargeting focusing on revenue goals and EBITDA expansion all the while being value and mission driven
+ Lead analytics team to understand user behavior across all digital channels to help improve site engagement and increase conversion of key metrics
+ Work closely with brand marketing team on website content generation in telling the story and maximize return through testing, site optimization, and improving online customer experience
+ Provide best in class customer care operation through both internal team and external vendors
+ Conduct market analysis, including competitor activity, to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
+ Develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness and increase visibility across key audiences
+ Define metrics, set targeted current and long-term goals, and lead internal teams to hit them
+ Understand positive interdepartmental cohesiveness regarding digital marketing, email, social media, website and other contents
+ Monitor all marketing campaigns and provide guidance and direction when necessary
+ Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
+ Provide regular updates on marketing initiatives and key metrics
+ Building, developing and managing Marketing Team capable of carrying our initiatives
+ Revenue, share and profitability of division vs. goals
+ Timely reporting to senior management on expected performance of Ecommerce
+ Completion of projects
This role will have full authority to define and execute end to end the primary Opportunity Analysis & Performance Measurement responsibilities of the job.
Mandatory Requirements
Educational Background:
+ Bachelor?s degree; MBA preferred
Professional Experience:
+ 12 + years of successful leadership experience in a complex, multi-ibrand, multi-channel global environment (strong background in strategy).

+ Must have experience as a manager who can properly influence people, process and technology in a manner that enriches the company?s culture and overall team performance
+ Must have a successful track record of leadership and the ability to attract, develop and retain world class talent
+ Must be a consummate team player, putting others before self, and actively engage stakeholders at all levels
+ Must be customer focused, both internal and external to the Company
+ Must be an outstanding servant leader, with excellent interpersonal and communications skills

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
