Manager, Loyalty and Engagement Programs and Systems
Overview
The Loyalty and Engagement Programs and Systems Manager is responsible for managing the loyalty and engagement programs on the Hertz IT side. This involves managing vendors, collaborating with the Hertz business, and leading program efforts to design, develop, and test solutions to ensure successful implementation of the loyalty and engagement projects. They will be an integral part of the CRM & Loyalty IT Department and be responsible for managing several Loyalty and Engagement IT Vendors. The Position will manage vendor teams and be expected to work in a highly matrixed and outsourced environment.
Key Result Areas:
+ Determine and implement innovative and industry best practices using modern designs and tools in support of major projects and initiatives.
+ Expert experience leading vendor implementation and operational teams in the building of systems, data, and application level interfaces and functional relationships.
+ Determine appropriate operational controls, tools and processes that supplement and enhance the organizations Loyalty and Engagement Systems practice.
+ Continually create process and delivery improvements.
+ Collaborate and contribute in all aspects of Loyalty & Engagement IT architecture and development.
+ Evaluate market trends and future state requirements in the platforms.
+ Monitor SLA for Performance Management in design, support, and execution of vendor SOW.
+ Document requirements for platform enhancements.
+ Work with Vendor Account Management teams to resolve challenges and issues.
+ Be flexible and able to switch priorities and projects quickly in this fast-paced environment.
+ Other duties as assigned.

Educational Background:
+ Bachelor?s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience; prefer advanced degree
Professional Experience:
+ 2+ years? experience managing IT vendors and applications
+ 2+ years of experience working with Loyalty or Customer Engagement Processes and Systems
+ 2+ years of experience working with systems or process transformation
+ Experience in cloud architecture and modern interface design
+ Experience in quality assurance test planning and execution
Knowledge:
+ Understanding of IT disciplines (IT operations, data architecture, data integration, SOA,
+ IT project management, or and application development)
+ Proficient knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and general project management techniques
Skills:
+ Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders, support personnel, and clients
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to work constructively while under pressure
+ Excellent documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Demonstrated critical thinking
+ Self-motivated leader with forward-thinking visionary and entrepreneurial thinking to lead change
+ Ability to work closely with end users to understand their needs and constraints
+ Be a catalyst to bring people together for a common vision
+ Ability to quickly assimilate and leverage new knowledge

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
