Senior Graphic Designer

General Responsibilities
Job Purpose
Senior Graphic Designer with at least 5 years of experience in print, web and multimedia design to support Hertz, and the strategic brands within the Hertz portfolio
Key-Result Areas
+ Conceptualize and create clear and persuasive ads for print, digital, social media, internal/employee communications, email, point of sale and collateral for Hertz, Dollar and Thrifty.
+ Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into compelling designs
+ Creates as well as oversees the maintenance of ongoing design of the website, mobile, online promos and ad banners.
+ Produces vector and bitmapped graphics as requested?both original artwork and image composites.
+ Creates comps for website layouts, with an emphasis on responsive design, and translates those comps into corresponding layouts.
+ Tests designs in a variety of environments and/or devices.
+ Performs various website content updates and limited data entry tasks, such as posting news articles, updating lists etc.
+ Along with other team members, helps to coordinate a graphics or photographic library and/or maintain digital records.
+ Helps to maintain consistent branding standards across advertising, expanding and updating branding standards manuals when required.
+ May be asked to create interactive graphics and/or presentations.
+ Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
+ Creation of short-video clips for animation or real-life
Mandatory Requirements
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Strong knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Acrobat and Microsoft Powerpoint
Coding experience with knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Dreamweaver
Educational Background:
+ Bachelor?s in Graphic Design
+ HTML5/CSS3, and experience designing for mobile devices.
+ Video editing
Professional Experience:
+ 3+ years professional experience required
+ Experience in digital, email and print design- priority on digital experience
+ Must be creatively driven
+ Must be able to provide a creative portolio
Knowledge/Skills Required:
+ Design expertise, an eye for clean visual designs
+ Software Skills - Proficiency with design and software prototyping tools, including Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, HTML, CSS; video editing software such as Adobe Premier Pro
+ Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices, and the latest trends in design and user experience
+ Evidence of continuing course work/education in Design and User Experience (in order to demonstrate passion and desire to keep knowledge base current
+ Deep understanding of user-centered design methods and usability principles
+ Expertise in comparing, contrasting, and prioritizing among alternative approaches to meeting design objectives, and using judgment to suggest solutions to design problems that optimize among customer needs, business constraints, and technological realities
+ Excellent design skills, including strong understanding of typography, layout, color, and composition and visualization principles
+ Knowledge of and experience creating UX deliverables such as personas, scenarios, use cases, user stories, task flows, flow charts, storyboards, site maps, information architectures, mockups, wireframes, prototypes, user interface, and style guides
+ Experience researching and creating user workflows using Visio

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
